All Wales Scout Camp Highlights Video

Here’s a video of the 2012 All Wales Scout Camp  Highlights.

All Wales scout Camp – 15-17 June 2012

Please find attached the permission to camp form, along with the parental consent form for the scouts to participate in the shooting activity for the All Wales scout Camp.
Both forms need to be returned to a Leader along with the payment.

We have reduced the cost to £30 for the scouts and £20 for the Young Leaders.

All Wales Scout Camp 2012

This event is being held at the Royal Welsh Show Ground at Builth Wells over the weekend of 15th – 17th June.

The total cost of the camp to include activities, food and transport is £40 for the scouts and £32 for the Young leaders.

If your son/daughter would like to attend the event I require a deposit of £5 by next Friday as I have to send the cheque off to confirm the number by next weekend.

The kit list and Parents permission forms will be added to the website shortly.

Activity Day/One night Camp

On May 11th we are planning to camp at Daerwynno Activity Centre and on the Saturday spend the day there doing some activities including climbing and canoeing.

The cost of the event is £18 and if your son/daughter would like to attend this event, we require a £5 deposit by next week, with the remainder of the money paid on the night.

You can find a kit list on our website www.pontygwaithscoutgroup.org.uk under “Useful documents” and you will also be required to complete a “Permission to camp form” which can also be downloaded off the website.

Timings: Friday 6pm at the hall, back Saturday at 4pm.

Beaver Scouts

There will no Beaver Scouts until after the holidays and the young people are back in school.

Cubs Friday 13th April

There will be no Cubs on Friday 6th April but we will be meeting over the holidays. On the 13th we shall be going over the farm for the evening weather permitting. Please ensure that all young people have adequate warm clothing.

Cub Camp

This year’s cub camp is being held on the 20th -22nd July at Islwyn Scout Park, further details to follow.

Scouts

On the 13th April we shall be going over the farm and camping the Friday night and returning to the hall on Saturday morning.
The cost of the camp is £3 per person and each scout will need a  permission to camp form.

Cub & Scout Activity Day

On the 11th May the cubs and scouts will be camping at the Daerwynno centre on the Friday evening and participating in the centre activities on the Saturday. Activities that will be undertaken will include canoeing and climbing a long with a range of other activities. The cost of this event will be £18 further details to follow.
